I'M KASEY! I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE KENTUCKIANA AREA WHO SPECIALIZES IN PORTRAITS OF JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE, but i especially love newborns. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING BABIES AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES,  FAMILIES, AND COUPLES. I SHOOT OUTDOORS ON VARIOUS LOCATIONS, IN YOUR HOME FOR LIFESTYLE SESSIONS, AND IN MY STUDIO IN CHARLESTOWN, IN! I LOVE SHOOTING IN ALL 3 ENVIRONMENTS AND TRULY DON'T HAVE A FAVORITE. MY STYLE IS LESS POSED AND MORE CANDID, BUT I DO LIKE A MIX OF BOTH. MY PHOTOS ARE WARM, VIBRANT, AND MOODY, AND MY GOAL WITH EVERY SESSION IS TO CAPTURE GENUINE MOMENTS, EMOTIONS, AND SMILES!

when I'm not working or running kids to school or practice, I love a good nap, chicken nuggets, horror movies, tattoos, reality tv, anything spooky, and anything true crime. I'm also an avid homebody and online shopper. I love rewatching my favorite comfort shows: Schitt's Creek, Rupaul's Drag Race, Parks & recreation, and ghost adventures. 
Aside from photography, I'm also a full time mom & wife! Maverick is 9, Merritt is 6, and Maxine is 4! My life is chaotic and loud 100% of the time, and I'm so grateful for it. I'm used to all the craziness that encompasses big families, which definitely is a bonus for what I do! 

My Start

I started my journey in photography in college. I attended Indiana University Bloomington (Go Hoosiers!) where I majored in photojournalism and minored in photography. In 2014, I graduated with my BA in photojournalism with a passion to capture moments in time that best portrayed the story I was trying to tell. My sweet niece was born right around the time I graduated, and I was requested to take her newborn photos. After that, I was hooked! I loved being able to apply my passion to capture moments in more ways than I studied in college.Photography has been such an amazing ride for me for over seven years now. I absolutely love being able to capture special memories for families and couples. Not to mention, I have the opportunity to meet and work with so many incredible people. Being able to stop a moment in time to preserve forever is so fulfilling for me, especially all the babies that come to me time after time that I get to watch grow up. Watching my own kids grow up is bittersweet, and I love that so many clients have made me a part of their lives and allow me to watch their sweet babies grow up, too. I would love to be able to capture your special moments, too!
